We realise that sometimes your goal, your objective, your learning intention is just to enjoy each others company, and have fun!

During a busy day in Wellington, some groups like to run around in a dark space, shooting each other with fake lazer-guns… some groups like to go indoors & climb giant imitation rock walls… and some groups will even throw on a life-jacket, jump in a small water craft, and pit their strength against the Wellington harbour.

Well, we’d like to give you another option!

For 2 hours, in our state-of-the-art digital studio, your group of 16 individuals, (or up to 32 playing in pairs), will be given the chance to experience the world of twitch-based multiplayer games. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag… we have it all!
Using the FREE UT3 (Unreal Tournament 3 demo), for two hours, our studio becomes transformed into an amazing, (and very safe) environment of high emotion & full-on energy. There will be laughing, there will be loud voices, there may even be tears of happiness & defeat!

Teacher & Parent Advisory

This is a chance to experience & better understand this exploding pass-time/e-sport, and while we have done this programme with many groups of varying ages over the past few years, we realise it may not be for everyone.

:: There are futuristic weapons that fire a range of futuristic ammunition

:: There is no ‘blood’, but there will be computer & player-controlled robots exploding, as well as computer-voiced-narration as typically heard in these types of multiplayer games. (Mild level of Animated violence.)

:: (There is also a high chance of increased blood pressure.)

You can use the Animation-ish software to create a variety of animations: doodles and drawings, animated stories, cards for the family, animations for home movies and/or school projects, presentations for PowerPoint, or web animations.
You will be inspired to make your mark and help move the world to a better place, one dot at a time!

Some really fun software that lets you take on those animated projects at whatever level you’re at. (Windows, Mac).
p.s. Animationish works great with a WACOM tablet!

From spending a couple of hours making music, to putting together soundtrack for the next epic game trailer, we are lucky enough to have the entire suite of SONY Creative Software at our fingertips. (ACID, VEGAS, CINESCORE, & more).
After you’ve come in for a session with us, you’ll be ready to visit them & download the software for yourself. (Windows).

Need to find & add some new sounds to your own collection?

“My visit to Capital E was really great. I have many friends who produce music on their computers but I’ve never tried to do so myself. After this session however, I am definitely going to download Sony’s Acid when I get home. Overall great experience and a great teacher.”
